They have traditional uniforms. Their home uniforms are: orange jerseys, orange helmets, and white pants. Their away uniforms are: white jerseys, orange helmets and purple pants.

#National Championship Game

The BCS National Championship Game is set up between (1)Florida State VS (2)Auburn. The game will take place on January 6, 2014 on ESPN. It will be in Pasadena, California at Rose Bowl Stadium. This will be a big offensive game with Florida State winning every game by at least 14 points. Auburn's offense has a very good running attack with Nick Marshall and Tre Mason running the ball. It will be a very high scoring game.

#Gameday

This game Baylor vs Oklahoma State has huge implications on the BCS National Championship Game. If Oklahoma State wins it would shake up the BCS in a big way. If Baylor wins, it would keep its chances alive. College Gameday is in Stillwater this weekend to get you ready for the big game. I will be talking about the games this weekend in my next post. www.zimbio.com

#Uniforms

Alabama:
They are keeping their uniforms pretty traditional. For home games they have Nike crimson colored jerseys, and have crimson helmets that they wear to away and home games, and away they have white uniforms. For both uniforms they wear white pants.     Auburn:
They have navy under armor jerseys, and their helmets are white and have orange and navy stripe down the middle.  Their away jerseys are white. They have white pants for both of their uniforms.
Posted Image    Uniform of the week:
In week 12, Northwestern wore red, white, and blue for their game last weekend. The uniforms were designed by Under Armor and were to help support the Wounded Warrior Project. The jerseys were auctioned off after the game to help support the cause. Here are some photos of them.

#Gamechangers

(Cooper Neill/Getty Images) In this article I will be talking about how the Heisman race is going. Jameis Winston is in the lead putting up some good numbers this year as a redshirt, freshman. He has it locked up if he can just win the last couple games before Florida State plays in their bowl game which could very well be the National Championship game on January 7, 2014. He has the impressive wins against Clemson when he beat them in Death Valley and against Miami who is fading. The only potential upset that Florida State and Jameis have to avoid is in the ACC Championship game. They will either face Duke or Miami who lost the tiebreaker against Duke. Johnny Manziel, the reigning Heisman trophy winner is in second place. He had the most eventful off season in college football ever. He has battled through some injuries to be in this position. He has lost two big games in which he made big plays and also made critical mistakes in. He lost against Alabama and Auburn. He has huge numbers which are better than last year, but he has thrown quite a few interceptions this season as well. He has a big game against LSU this weekend that might put him above Jameis Winston if he has an amazing game. He will have to be a game changer. Marcus Mariota is in third place in the Heisman according to the experts, but I would put him number one on my list if I were to make one. He was in the lead for eleven weeks until he had to play Stanford and the team could not handle the pressure. I think that Marcus Mariota has the most impressive stat in the FBS. He hasn't thrown an interception since last year. How many has Johnny Manziel thrown, I would have to do the math to figure that out. He is probably the fastest quarterback in college football which helps his chances too. If Winston or Manziel slip up. You should watch out for Mariota. Bryce Petty is in fourth place putting up the biggest numbers I have ever seen. The Baylor Bears team is averaging over 60 points a game which is the highest in the FBS. HE has a major game this weekend against (10)Oklahoma State in Stillwater which is the host of College Gameday. Baylor's Petty has to play good if he wants to keep his Heisman hopes alive for the 2013 season. In fifth place is AJ McCarron who is the best decision maker at the College level. He has lead Alabama to two straight National Championships. He has a real good shot at number three this season in his senior year. He has also quietly made himself a Heisman factor and he has the record to show for it. He will have to play great over the last couple games to try to put himself in New York. He has to play Auburn and potentially Missouri or South Carolina. Who will win it?

#Blindside

The biggest upset of the 2013 college football season came on November 7. The (5)Stanford Cardinals beat the (3)Oregon Ducks 26-20. It was a blowout the whole game until a late surge by the Ducks that changed things up in the fourth quarter. It happened to be too little too late. The Cardinal, who possessed the ball for 42:34 compared to just 17:26 by the Ducks can really tell you how Stanford dominated the line of scrimmage. Oregon in this game was known for fumbling the ball inside the twenty yard line twice. These costly turnovers are a big reason why Oregon lost this game.

Marcus Mariota may have ruined his Heisman hopes again this year, but that is overshadowed by how he apparently had injured his knee while in practice. He was wearing a knee brace which does not allow you to be as mobile when you are running the football. Stanford has now crushed Oregon's chances at a championship two years in a row if the top 5 teams keep winning.

There are three games that catch my eye this weekend. The first one is (4)Stanford at Usc.This game has huge implications on the PAC 12 championship and I will tell you why. If Usc wins this game that would put themselves in the drivers seat in the South, and Oregon would jump right back into controlling their own destiny in the North. College Gameday is there this weekend also. The game will be at 7:00 PM on ABC.

The second game that catches my eye is (16)Michigan State at Nebraska. The team that wins this game is likely to find themselves in the Big Ten Championship game in December. The blackshirts which is lead by Ciante Evans and Randy Gregory has really improved this year. The quarterback position has been up and down this season with Martinez having a turf toe injury. Michigan State is lead by their defense which is among the best in the country. They have been a shutdown defense this year with their offense struggling. We will find out at 2:30 PM on ABC.

Lastly the game that has big implications is the (12)Oklahoma State Cowboys at the (23)Texas Longhorns. Oklahoma State has made a quarterback change in the middle of this season. JW Walsh has lost the starting job and Clint Chelf has taken over. Texas which fired its defensive coordinator early in the season has really stepped it up with Jackson Jeffcoat coming from the defensive end position. We will find out how this game turns out at 2:30 PM on Fox. This will be a big Saturday in the world of college football.
